We are pleased to announce version 4.5 of our Alpha/VAX virtualization products. This new version includes functional updates, many of which have been requested by our customers, as well as support for the latest software security standards.

Here is a summary of the most important changes:
- AlphaServer GS: QBB memory can now be selected up to 64 GB
- Verification that an added SCSI device does not use the controller target ID
- Verification that a change of adapter target ID does not conflict with a present device
- VAX virtual tapes can be compressed
- Refresh button has been added to the 'Mounted Storage' window
- Log files will always show the latest entries first
- Aboslute path names for NVRAM files are verified
- 'Save a copy as...' now copies the configuration file and the NVRAM (Logs are not included)
- When a move, copy or (de)compress action gets cancelled partial result is removed
- Auto log-in after reboot of your host
- Improved log-in handling for vtMonitor access to avoid undesired log-out situations
- Uptime of a running virtual Alpha/VAX is shown
